For Families

Welcome to ParentSquare.

CCSD66's main way to reach our families.

We're rolling out ParentSquare this year. Right now it carries district announcements, school news, and emergency notifications. More features are coming, and this page will grow with them.

What it is

Where district news comes from.

ParentSquare is how the district and schools send most parent communications. Today it's one-way โ€” we send, you receive. More features are rolling out across the year.

๐Ÿ“ข

District announcements

Important updates from the district office: calendar changes, board meetings, district-wide news.

๐Ÿซ

School news

Posts from your child's school: events, reminders, and updates from the principal and office.

๐Ÿšจ

Emergency notifications

Weather closures, early dismissals, and urgent safety updates. These come through fastest.

Setting up

You're already in.

ParentSquare uses your contact information from Skyward Family Access. You don't sign up separately โ€” once your student is registered with CCSD66, you're enrolled.

  1. Check your contact info in Skyward Family Access

Phone number, email, and notification preferences all flow from there into ParentSquare. If you're not getting messages, this is the first place to look.

  2. Get the ParentSquare app on your phone

Search "ParentSquare" in the App Store or Google Play. Sign in with the email or phone number CCSD66 has on file.

  3. Set your notification preferences

Choose how you want to be reached for each type of message โ€” push notification, email, text, or some combination.

What's coming

More features this year.

We're expanding ParentSquare throughout the school year. As more features roll out โ€” classroom-level posts, two-way messaging, calendars โ€” step-by-step guides will land on this page.

Not getting messages?

We can help.

Most issues come down to contact info or notification settings. Email tickets@ccsd66.incidentiq.com and we'll take a look.
